Rasukatto

Rasukatto (ラスカット) – n – literally “lath-cut” in a Japanese accent. Rasukatto is structural plywood with an initial layer of water-resistant membrane over which there is a rough cement-based layer to which mortar, plaster, stucco, etc, can be applied. Caulking is used to seal all joints, after which one of the above finish materials are typically applied.
