One-Word English to Japanese Construction and Physics Translations

Preface:

I’ve always wanted an alphabetical list of quick, one or two word translations of words in a given field of interest. I often find language to language dictionaries cumbersome to comb through when all you need is that one-word literal translation and not necessarily a full definition.See more.

And this situation is all the more exacerbated when it’s not like you’re trying to learn a new language via the dictionary, but rather you just come into contact with a lot of technical terminology related to a specific field and want a quick one-word switch to English.

I have another page, General Japanese Woodworking Construction Terminology for Foreigners, which is a Japanese (Romaji and Kanji) to English dictionary with images to facilitate understanding. All the words link to their own page as some of the definitions are rather lengthy.

But on this page I’ll have all the words and their one-word translations on a single page, in alphabetical order, and you just have to scroll down to locate the word you’re looking for. Also, this will be from English to Japanese, as it’s to serve native English speakers like myself who have a word in mind and need a quick switcharoo to Japanese.
