Danmenzu (断面図) – a diagram displaying the vertical cross section of a particular portion of a given house under consideration. A danmenzu is most often used to reveal the placement of wall fixtures, cabinets, shelving, door frames, etc. The vertical and horizontal distance between a given object and some point of reference, such as a wall or ceiling, is depicted in this danmenzu.
